We live about 180 miles from John Day but I can assure you this is our "go to" coffee place whenever we're passing through. They make fresh breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches and have lovely fresh-baked (yes, from scratch) pastries. There is usually a pot of homemade soup simmering and a beautiful, fresh salad bar. To top it all off the coffee is wonderful. My husband likes his dark and he is always pleased.The owner is very sweet, friendly, and makes rounds often to be sure everything is good. The staff pay close attention to details when taking our order. They always get it right the first time even with several changes.The rustic, western-barn style decor creates a down-to-earth pleasantly comfortable atmosphere.The restrooms are always kept very clean and have a tasteful decor matching the rustic cafe.We've never been disappointed with any purchase here. I am happy to recommend this coffee shop to anyone who likes a good brew with a delicious breakfast or lunch! I'm sure you won't be disappointed!!

This is drive thru only, but the service was as fast and prompt as some fast food places on a busy day. The team was on top of it, and everything was delicious. My friends got the breakfast sandwiches, and I got the BLT. Both were great. Drinks were tasty. All for a good deal, too. Would stop here again.

Great drinks and food. I recommend the breakfast sandwich on a croissant and a sugar free huckleberry infused Rebull! Also Taylor is so kind! 12/10 service.

Great coffee drinks and breakfast sandwiches that are out of this world. It's a small town and to have a good choice for breakfast is nice. Give it a shot you will love it.

Delicious food with reasonable prices and simple variety. The biscuits were so soft and fluffy. Very delicious! As well as the pancakes. Best I’ve had! The coffee was top tier! I got the blended Carmel heath!

Not to exaggerate but they make the best breakfast sandwich in the country. Bagel sausage bacon egg and American cheese with mayo. Honorable mention is the Warmed Up Maple Bar. Friendly staff as well.
